Our Rafting Seasons...

White water rafting trips are generally available 7 days a week during the peak river rafting months of May, June, July, August. Our regular season starts in April and runs into September.

In Good Company...

Everybody is comfortable around us including families, corporations, church groups, boy scouts & girl scouts, even your group of friends. You choose – thrilling chutes over cascading waterfalls, healthy and challenging whitewater, or relaxing floats through spectacular scenery. An average group size for us is about 35 people. We can accommodate groups of well over 100, but also enjoy spending time with smaller groups of guests.

In Good Hands...

We’re committed to your safety and satisfaction. Share the camaraderie with our Professional Guide Corps, who know and love these waters. Our perfect safety record results from extensive training (including Swiftwater Rescue techniques) and thousands of river miles. Our professional equipment features Sotar and Aire self-bailing rafts, oar guided craft when requested, Coast Guard Type V P.F.D.’s (personal floatation devices; life jackets), helmets, splash jackets, and clean wetsuits & booties for all sizes.

We are Washington State Licensed and members of:

  • Professional River Outfitters of Washington (PROW)
  • Washington Outfitters and Guides Association (WOGA) – www.woga.org

Raft Guide Training Program...

Alpine Adventures is certified by the American Canoe Association and has trained 200+ guides under its current ownership. Our Raft Guide Training Program is among the toughest and most thorough in Washington State.  Alpine Adventures trains on 4 different rivers.  River guide instructors teach our class how to read water not how to memorize the same river.  Our trainees receive a training manual to aid in their education and life-long learning. Our instructors are amongst the best in the business and teach all aspects of river rafting on Washington State’s premier whitewater rivers.

Reservation & Payment Guidelines...

Please make your rafting reservations as soon as possible to ensure the best experience with the least amount of hassle. If you are unsure how many people to book your trip for, make a reservation for the minimum number of confirmed people in your group, then add additional members as they are confirmed. The total payment is due 10 days in advance of your scheduled rafting trip (or upon making the reservation if less than 10 days in advance). Last minute reservations should call at least one day in advance to make sure a spot is available in a raft on the river you’d like to run. Walk-ins are welcome but can not be guaranteed. In order to confirm a trip, a deposit of 50% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking. Visa and MasterCard accepted. If preferred, you may send a check or money order to: Alpine Adventures, P.O. Box 373, Gold Bar, WA 98251.

Please Note: Rafting and outdoor recreational activities involve risk; participants must read and sign a “Release of Liability” waiver, which can be signed electronically HERE or downloaded here. If the water on the scheduled river is too high to be safely run on the day of your trip we reserve the right to: change rivers, re-schedule the rafting trip to another day, or cancel the trip all-together (with full refund). On the rare occasion this occurs, it is for the safety of everyone involved and we will do everything in our power to make it up to you.

Refund Policies...

A 100% refund can be processed (minus transaction fees) if you cancel your rafting trip at least 30 days in advance of the booked trip date. A 50% refund can be processed (minus transaction fees) if you cancel 10-29 days in advance. No refund will be processed if you cancel less than 10 days prior to your trip or if you don’t show up on the day of your trip. If fewer people show up on the trip date, you will be held accountable for all reserved spots. We raft rain or shine.
