The price for the raft guide training program is $485.00. This price includes all instruction, wetsuits, helmets, personal floatation devices, splash jackets, rafts and assorted equipment, handouts and state sales tax. A deposit of $200.00 must be made in advance of the training to hold your spot, with the balance due by April 29, 2017. However, payment plans are negotiable. Space in the program is limited and camping is a requirement for those whom wish to commercially guide. There will be limited shuttle space between Gold Bar and Leavenworth at no additional charge.
During your training all group rafting equipment will be provided by Alpine Adventures. If you choose to purchase your own personal river gear, there will be an opportunity to place an order with NRS to receive your PFD and other river gear at wholesale price.
Our commercial season is almost year 'round. Our regular season starts at the end of April and runs into October. We run Fall Colors trips on the Upper Skagit in October and November.
